Thuita Wachira joined REFUNITE’s Tech Team in August as a backend developer. Prior to REFUNITE, he worked for Radix Consulting, a tech firm focused on designing and deploying value added services for telecommunications companies across Africa. He has also worked as a student researcher for the Nokia Research Centre. Thuita’s professional interest lies in data analytics. He enjoys reading classic and african fiction, as well as watching films and plays.

Doreen Makenja is excited to join REFUNITE as a backend developer as of this August. Previously, she worked at Radix Consulting Ltd as a project manager. She has also worked at Mobile Planet Ltd, where she worked as a developer and later in systems support. In her free time, Doreen enjoys reading manga.

Lotta Relander is excited to join REFUNITE’s team as an intern. Prior to REFUNITE, Lotta has volunteered at the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women, an organization that supports women entrepreneurs in developing countries. She has also forked for Elisa, a telecommunications, ICT and online service company in Finland. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Boston College.
