This month’s edition of the Urban Perspective (UP) highlights REFUNITE as part of the magazine’s technology beat. UP is an urban lifestyle magazine that provides a unique perspective on Nairobi’s way of life.
From key personality profiles to exciting upcoming events, the magazine is a one-stop shop for people who want to know what’s happening in Kenya’s capital city.
The April edition, titled Geeks and Techies, focuses on trailblazers of the Nairobi tech scene such as iHub (an open space for the technologists, investors, tech companies and hackers), Moringa School (a coding school, where students are trained to become junior mobile and web developers), M-Changa (a fundraiser management platform that allows individuals to raise money from their immediate community) and Nairobi Garage, the base of some of the latest start-ups.
The Nairobi Garage is where REFUNITE’s office is located and according to UP, the space plays an increasingly important role as the Kenyan tech space continues to grow and lead the way for all things world-changing in the atmosphere of African technology.
