REFUNITE behind-the-scenes: Tech Team Reveals Upgrades The past five months have been a particularly exciting time for the tech team at REFUNITE. Given the increased number of displaced people globally, we saw an urgent need to upgrade our backend platform to better adjust and scale to the numbers of displaced persons we were seeing. Our previous platform was a monolithic api that handled everything on our platform. Zain Group received CSR Initiatve of the Year award at CommsMEA for work with REFUNITE
REFUNITE’s partner Zain Group, a leading mobile telecom innovator, were presented with three awards at this year’s CommsMEA awards in Dubai. One of these awards was for the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Initiative of the Year, which Zain received for their work in the Family Reconnection Program, where it tied up with Ericsson and REFUNITE to a launch a project in Jordan.
