On the 28th of February 2017, REFUNITE co-founder Christopher Mikkelsen represented REFUNITE at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. Organized by the GSMA which represents the interests of mobile operators worldwide, Mobile World Congress is a global gathering to discuss and showcase the mobile industry’s latest trends.

Christopher Mikkelsen was invited to participate in GSMA’s roundtable discussion on the importance of mobile technology for the displaced with representatives from the humanitarian industry, including UNHCR, CARE, as well as mobile network operators, such as Zain Group, and Turkcell.
