Joe is joining REFUNITE as the new and motivated Front End Developer, who combines the art of design with the art of programming. Joe’s responsibilities includes designing beautiful and intuitive user interfaces and translating them to actual code that produces visual elements of REFUNITE’s web and mobile applications and ensuring that they provide great user experience. He will work closely with the Backend Developers to bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.

Before joining REFUNITE, Joe worked as Fullstack Developer at WPP Scangroup and Brainwave Communications Ltd, where he worked on different projects. Joe holds a diploma in Digital Design from Nairobits School of Digital Design.

Apart from Designing and writing code, Joe enjoys travelling, hiking, playing video games and meeting new people.

Sacha joins REFUNITE in a new role as the Middle East Project Manager. She works to grow REFUNITE in the Middle East through user research and partnerships. Prior to joining REFUNITE, Sacha worked for non-profit Education For Employment in Washington DC and as community manager at Berlin’s tech campus, Factory. She holds an MA in Arab Studies from Georgetown University and a BSc in Social Anthropology from the London School of Economics.

Sacha is half Lebanese and half British, but grew up in the UAE. She is an avid cyclist and absolutely loves Korean-style karaoke – she says “I’ll do my best to persuade anyone to join me”.
